Benecon’s sister company, ConnectCare3, is included as part of PMHIC membership and offers Nurse Navigation, Chronic Disease Management, Tobacco Cessation, and Nutrition Counseling services to all PMHIC members and their dependents.

Benecon’s other specialty cooperative programs provide similar programs for PA Counties (PCHIPC), Lancaster & York-based Municipalities (IIC), and PA Public School Districts (PSHIC).  The power of group purchasing is provided by Benecon leveraging preferred rates for many items purchased as part of membership in these cooperatives.

One of the best features of the PMHIC program is that Benecon works with all of the familiar carriers and networks. Based on your group’s location, you get to pick the administrator of your choice. PMHIC members have total flexibility in choosing a network and plan design.

The PMHIC Board believes there are power and efficiency in group purchasing and therefore has developed cost-effective options to group purchase dental, vision, and life and disability programs. In addition, PMHIC offers low-cost options for COBRA, HRA, and HSA administration.
